Breathwork with Solveig Store
Let breathing ground you and set you free!
An invitation to find your inner strength through Breathwork.
Breathwork is the use of Breath awareness and Conscious Breathing to promote healing and growth in whatever area of your life would benefit. The three basic skills of awareness, relaxation and breathing have the ability to ground you to wake up to who you are, to let go of what does not serve you any longer and to take charge of your our life within a safe and secure space.
Although our lungs remove 70 percent of the toxins from inside our bodies, we have forgotten how to use our full lung capacity. We all have our own breathing patterns and many of us hold onto unnecessary tension within our respiratory muscles, restricting us from breathing deeply and fully. Each breath we take has its own unique rhythm and throughout the workshop you will experience the healing effects of a natural and full breath. You will be taught how to connect to this wonderful life-giving resource that can set you free!
My name is Solveig and I am a conscious Breathwork facilitator. I have studied a number of breathing modalities since 2013. I have extensive experience in people development and am a Chartered member of the CIPD. I have a sensitive and interpersonal approach and love encouraging individuals to explore their innate capacity for self-healing and empowerment. I create and hold a safe and tender space to help individuals access their own inner resources for well being, personal development and transformation.

Introduction to Mindfulness
Taster session Wednesday 5 February 11.15am to 1.15pm
Mindfulness is now widely recognized and practiced as a powerful influence on one’s health, wellbeing and happiness. There are many courses available and many articles written on mindfulness; you may feel unsure as to where to start.
This introduction session will offer short practices, exercises and discussions to explore:
- What mindfulness is and what it is not
- The benefits of mindfulness on our mental and physical wellbeing
- The evidence-based courses available, particularly the world renowned 8 week MBSR/MBCT courses (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy) and other programmes delivered in various contexts.
You will be given some notes at the end, with the summary of the session and further resources.
My name is Sandrine, I have been practicing meditation since 1993 under the guidance of qualified teachers. I was encouraged by my Buddhist teacher to teach mindfulness. I wanted to keep the integrity of mindfulness combined with modern psychology and therefore undertook an in-depth teacher training:
I completed four-year training with the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice at Bangor University. I also studied for one year at Oxford Mindfulness Centre where I received a Certificate of Competency to teach in the workplace. I am listed on the British Association for MBAs (following the Good Practice Guidelines).
I have been teaching mindfulness since 2013 to the general public and since 2018 in schools and in the workplace. I have benefited so much from my daily practice that I love sharing this invaluable approach to life and see my participants benefiting too.
“Fabulous explanation of mindfulness and its application. Sandrine is obviously very knowledgeable and passionate on this subject and its benefits”. Sara
