Winter Yoga Nidra

Dipping our toes into the stillness of the water element of Winter.
When we have more time to find solace and depth in our quiet times,
for rest & rejuvenation.
A time of self reflection, inner nourishment & meditation.
Storing energy so when spring time arrives, we are rested and have an abundance of energy.
Yoga Nidra meaning little sleep (although you don’t actually sleep), is the most powerful way to switch off and restore ourselves in a
form of deep relaxation.
It is performed laying down on the back, snuggled in blanket if so desired, to be warm and comfortable.
Enjoy an evening of helping the mind & body let go of the old & stale in our lives, and thus granting us the vision to re-evaluate our true
essence & move forward.
We will begin with gentle body stretching and release, focusing on the Breath.
You will then be guided and supported into a deep state of relaxation, allowing the mind and body to switch off and recharge.
We will spend 15 minutes at the end of the session to reawaken fully, chat over a cup of tea, and perhaps share any experiences.

Increase your levels of happiness, through mindful connection to your thoughts, feelings, and actions.
During this workshop we explore the mind-body connection and how your thoughts either move you closer to happiness or unhappiness.
We explore the body through breath-work and pressure points, noticing where you feel tension and learning how to release it.
This practice teaches you how to identify ‘cognitive dissonance’ (a major cause of depression and anxiety) and will give clear and simple guidance on how to overcome it using mindfulness, movement and breath-work.
Guided meditation during the workshop will pose questions such as ‘Does what I think and feel on the inside match up with how I act on the outside?’ Through these contemplations you’ll understand yourself better, becoming clearer about how to increase your levels of happiness.
It is kindly requested that you provide at least 7 days notice if you need to change or cancel a mini workshop.
Cancellations within 7 days will be charged the full fee.
