Service Description

A workshop exploring the Alignment, Breathing, Centering of Good Movement Alignment: creates efficient, stable and integrated movement. It involves the awareness and balance of our body parts in relation to each other and the ground and ensures that forces are distributed effectively throughout our body resulting in less injury. Good alignment reduces strain on joints and muscles and improves our overall function and stability. Breathing: affects our motor control and posture and plays an key role in our nervous system regulation. Inefficient breathing is linked with chronic pain, anxiety and depression. We will practice exercises that release embedded tension from our fascia, improve the function of our lungs, diaphragm and pelvic floor, while freeing up our ribs and spine. Centring: creates both physical and mental stability. We will look at exercises that release, tone and condition our deep core, including psoas and the pelvic floor. We will explore how alignment and breathing, rather than muscular contraction improves abdominal tone and organ health and enables us to move and function more naturally. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy Everyone is responsible for cancelling or rescheduling their own booked classes. If you fail to turn up the class cannot be re-booked and payment is lost. Class reschedule or cancellations must be made 4 hours prior to class starting. We do not accept email or telephone cancellations. Manage your classes in 'My Bookings' To manage your booking simply go to 'My Bookings' from the drop down box at the top of the screen. From here you can reschedule to another day or you can cancel. If you cancel the session goes back to your basket to use another day. You must "spend" your plan within the time given.
