Service Description
Let yourself be guided and moved by the sound and rhythm of the drum, bringing the mind, body and soul back home. We will begin our afternoon together with a smudging ceremony and by opening sacred space, welcoming in the four directions, Mother Earth and Father Sun. Each circle will have a different theme, guided by the seasons, and we will drum, sing, move and journey to this theme. On a physical level drumming, in studies, has shown to alter neuro endocrine and immunologic response in a person, giving a sense of peace and relaxation. Research shows that cortisol levels and blood pressure are positively altered, natural killer cells are more active, drumming also aids the production of endorphins, assisting in pain control. On a spiritual level, the vibrations of the drum beat encourage mental, emotional and spiritual energy bodies to realign and chakras to become balanced, resulting in emotional and mental harmony. Our consciousness shifts and we are able to reach our true spiritual selves. There will be a few short call and response songs that you can join in with if you wish. This will lead us into freestyle drumming allowing you to journey with your drum. You can remain seated, get up and gently move around, or go Wild! Please bring your own drum with you. A few small drums are available to borrow. Let the Beat of the Drum take you!

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy Everyone is responsible for cancelling or rescheduling their own booked classes. If you fail to turn up the class cannot be re-booked and payment is lost. Class reschedule or cancellations must be made 4 hours prior to class starting. We do not accept email or telephone cancellations. Manage your classes in 'My Bookings' To manage your booking simply go to 'My Bookings' from the drop down box at the top of the screen. From here you can reschedule to another day or you can cancel. If you cancel the session goes back to your basket to use another day. You must "spend" your plan within the time given.
