The Bands of Power & Protection

Service Description

The Bands of Power and Protection are part of the rites of the Munay-Ki and is the only rite that can be given on its own. These rites have been passed down by the Q’ero medicine men and women from the high Andes of Peru. Five energy belts are woven into the luminous energy field (LEF) of the body for power and protection. They act as filters, breaking down any heavy energy that comes toward you. The bands are given in a ceremony that connects the you to the elements of Mother Earth, Pachamama. They represent the five elements of earth, water, fire, air and ether (pure light). This rite powerfully strengthens and empowers the luminous energy field, they are incredibly protective and nurturing, providing greater resource and balance. Always "on", heavy energies bounce right off them. You will receive the bands 3 times and then learn how to pass them onto your family, friend, colleagues or anyone that would like to receive them. The bands can be shared with everyone, all ages. We will do a meditation and breathing practice together to help you grow and strengthen your bands. They move with us and vibrate with greater vitality the more we give them our conscious attention, love and focus. The Bands; Black band of Earth in woven into the LEF around your hips and runs from the hips to the Earth beneath your feet. Resourcing yourself by the dark rich soil of earth. Here we plant the seeds our intentions, our projects and of our highest becoming. Red band of Water sits gently on top of the black band around your waist. Connecting with the element of water, the clouds, the lakes, the oceans and the waters within you, your blood, lymph, saliva. Here we water our seeds and see the germinate and begin to grow. Gold band of the Sun sits softly on the red band around your heart. Representing your connection to the element of fire, the golden light of the sun that shines on the seeds you sow in life, nurturing them and helping them grow. Silver band of Air sits around your throat area, this band represents the winds of the earth that send the seed of you becoming out into the world. It also connects to grandmother moon who watches over you as you sleep. White band – wrapping around your forehead, this band represents your connection to the mountains and beyond, to the heavens and Great Spirit. Connecting to pure joy, peace, love and the world of your becoming. It will be my honour to share these bands with you they way the were gifted to me. Munay Sonqo

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy Everyone is responsible for cancelling or rescheduling their own booked classes. If you fail to turn up the class cannot be re-booked and payment is lost. Class reschedule or cancellations must be made 4 hours prior to class starting. We do not accept email or telephone cancellations. Manage your classes in 'My Bookings' To manage your booking simply go to 'My Bookings' from the drop down box at the top of the screen. From here you can reschedule to another day or you can cancel. If you cancel the session goes back to your basket to use another day. You must "spend" your plan within the time given.
