Trina
Classes at Wild Nest: Hatha, Hot Yoga
Trina first discovered yoga over 20 years ago, and was very drawn to the flexibility of yoga given her childhood background in acrobatics. Over the years a much deeper appreciation of yoga philosophy and meditation grew.
She strongly believes in the powerful benefits of breath and movement, and that yoga is so much more than holding poses. With a keen interest in neuroscience, Trina explores the way yoga can help us emotionally regulate, engage our parasympathetic system, and promote physical strength and positive mental health.
As well as teaching Hatha and Hot Yoga at Wild Nest, Trina also teaches Teen and Adolescent Yoga. She is a Yoga Alliance certified YTT 200 Yoga and Meditation Teacher, Teen Yoga Teacher through the Teen Yoga Foundation and certified Sound Bowl Healer through the Atmashree Yoga School in Nepal.
“My aim is for us to practice together. To meet ourselves with curiosity, using breath and movement to create awareness in the present moment.”
