FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What should I bring to class?
Just yourself! We provide mats, blocks, blankets, bolsters, straps and eye pillows. There is no equipment hire cost. You are also welcome to bring your own equipment.
I've never done yoga before, can I still come to a class?
Yes, our classes are tailored for all abilities. If you are very fit you might be comfortable in a Power Flow class, otherwise we would recommend trying a Gentle Hatha, Hatha, or Flow and Restore to start with. It is not recommended to try a Hot Yoga until you are more comfortable with the practice.
Do you have changing rooms and showers?
We don't have changing rooms, but we do have two toilets and a shower room which has plenty of room to change in.
How do I find the studio?
We're a short walk from the Waitrose car park, please see more information and directions here.
How do I book a class?
We have a variety of purchase options including a single class, as well as 6, 12 and 24 class blocks. Once you have purchased your pass(es) you should head back to the timetable or 'classes and workshops' pages to book the class you want to attend.
I am not flexible, can I still do yoga?
Yes! There is no need to be flexible to practise yoga.
What should I wear to class?
This largely depends on the class you're attending. If you've booked Power Flow or Hot Yoga, then wear clothing you can move in, and nothing that will get in the way of balancing or lifting legs in the air! If you're attending something more restorative like Gentle Hatha, Yin or Yoga Nidra then wear comfortable, loose clothing. If you have any questions about the specific class you're attending please don't hesitate to send us a message.
