Hatha yoga is an old system that includes most styles of Yoga. This practice focuses on bringing balance, to mind, body and soul. Finding inner peace and light. A regular Yoga practice can improve strength, flexibility, and balance, reduce stress and provide many therapeutic benefits. The physical practice of Yoga is just one part of a Yogic lifestyle, which incorporates the eight limbs of yoga. We also work with the four elements and the 7 energy centres of the body, the Chakras. All sessions end in relaxation, allowing the mind and body to relax, restore and renew. A Hatha yoga practice includes Surya Namaskar A and B. Laying down and seated stretches and twists. Standing poses include the Warrior poses, poses for balance, strength and focus. All classes start and end with breathing practice and relaxation.
