Crystals and Yoga

✨ Bringing Crystals into Your Yoga Practice

Crystals have been used for centuries in many cultures as symbols of intention, grounding and personal reflection. Many people enjoy incorporating crystals into their yoga practice as a mindful ritual that helps create focus and invites intention and presence.

Choosing a crystal can be as simple as selecting one that you're naturally drawn to or choosing a colour that connects to the moment.. You might place it at the top of your mat, hold it during meditation, or keep it close during Savasana as a gentle reminder of the intention you've set for your practice.

Some popular choices include:

  • Rose Quartz – often associated with compassion, self-love and kindness.

  • Amethyst – commonly linked with calm, clarity and inner peace.

  • Clear Quartz – a favourite for setting intentions and cultivating focus.

  • Black Tourmaline – often chosen as a symbol of grounding and stability.

  • Citrine – associated by many with positivity, confidence and abundance.

Whether you use crystals or not, yoga is ultimately about cultivating awareness, connection and balance from within. If a crystal helps you pause, breathe and reconnect with your intention, it can become a beautiful addition to your practice.

At Wild Nest Studio, we encourage you to explore the rituals and practices that help you feel grounded, present and connected—both on and off the mat. 💛
