Yoga Nidra: Deep Rest for Mind and Body
Yoga Nidra, often called "yogic sleep," is a guided meditation technique that promotes deep relaxation while maintaining full consciousness. Practiced lying down, it takes the body into a state between waking and sleeping, allowing the nervous system to reset and the mind to access deeper levels of awareness. Unlike traditional sleep, Yoga Nidra keeps the mind alert while the body rests, making it a powerful tool for stress relief, emotional healing, and mental clarity. A typical session can last anywhere from 20 to 60 minutes and often involves breath awareness, body scanning, and visualisation.
Cacao in Meditation
Cacao, especially in its ceremonial form, is increasingly used in meditation to open the heart, enhance focus, and deepen emotional connection. Rich in theobromine and mood-elevating compounds, cacao can create a gentle, uplifting energy that supports mindfulness and inner exploration.
